Custom Microsoft Graph integration for inbound and outbound emails

Administrators can use the custom Microsoft Graph integration to receive and send emails. This integration allows you process and encrypt emails as required and scan for malware and viruses. You can also use a custom SMTP server integration or the default Amazon Web Service’s Simple Email Service (SES) to send outbound emails or use an SMTP or IMAP server to receive inbound emails.

  • If you are using a custom domain, you can use the Microsoft Graph integration.
  • You do not need to DNS updates to use custom IMAP integration for inbound emails and a custom SMTP server for outbound emails.
  • You must add the TXT records to the DNS server to use custom IMAP integration for inbound emails and Amazon Web Service’s SES for outbound emails. All outbound email limits apply.

Considerations:

  • You have a maximum of 20 integrations, with one integration per domain name.
  • The size limit for both inbound and outbound emails is 40 MB.
  • Microsoft Graph integration supports OAuth 2.0. It does not support basic authentication.
  • The attachment limit on the server side applies. Specify the limit during the integration.
  • You must set up your own rules on your server to scan for virus, malware, and spam. Genesys Cloud does not perform the scan.
  • The following limits for email recipients apply:
    • Inbound email: 50 addresses each for To, Cc, and Bcc recipients.
    • Outbound email: 50 addresses together for To, Cc, and Bcc recipients.
