Dark and light theme selection for dashboards in analytics workspace

In a future release, Genesys Cloud will allow users to select a dark or light theme for viewing custom dashboards within the analytics workspace. This selection applies to all the custom dashboards within the analytics workspace, and follows the selected theme for a consistent visual experience. This feature helps users stay productive with a more comfortable and accessible dashboard experience, making it easier to focus on the insights that drive decisions.

Why this matters?

Previously, dashboards in the analytics workspace were displayed in a fixed theme, regardless of user preference or environmental lighting. With this enhancement, users can select the display mode that works best for them, helping reduce eye strain and improving focus while interacting with real-time data.

What’s changing?

• Theme toggle option – Users can choose between dark or light mode for dashboards in the analytics workspace.
• Workspace-wide application – The selected theme applies across all custom dashboards within a workspace for consistent viewing.
• Persistent preference – The system remembers the user’s theme selection, so agents do not need to reset each session.
• Independent of dashboard creator settings – Dashboards render in the viewer’s preferred theme, not the creator’s.
