You can assign shifts to a published or unpublished schedule.

  1. Click Admin.
  2. Under Workforce Management, click Schedules.
  3. In the upper right corner, click the Management Unit list and select the desired management unit.
  4. Search for the schedule you want to edit and select it from the list. The schedule editor opens.
  5. Select the shift you want to reassign and do one of the following:
    • Click the arrow at the end of the Select Action list and select Assign Shift.
    • Select Shift + Q.
  6. In the Assign Shift dialog box, to select the agent you want to receive the schedule do the following:
    1. Click the arrow at the end of the agent name list.
    2. Type a few letters of the agent’s name and the select it from the list.
  7. Click OK to return to the schedule editor.
  8. Save, publish, or continue editing the schedule.

This option is only available in View by Week mode.

  1. Click Admin.
  2. Under Workforce Management, click Schedules.
  3. In the upper right corner, click the Management Unit list and select the desired management unit.
  4. Search for the schedule that contains the shifts you want to swap and select it from the list. The schedule editor opens.
  5. Select the agent whose shifts you want to assign and do one of the following:
    • Click the arrow at the end of the Select Action list and click Assign All Shifts
    • Press Shift+T.
  6. In the Assign All Shifts dialog box, select the agent you want to receive the schedule by doing the following:
    1. Click the arrow at the end of the agent name list.
    2. Type a few letters of the agent’s name and the select it from the list.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Save, publish, or continue editing the schedule.
