In a future release, Genesys Cloud will migrate the Integrations section of the Admin UI to a new, modern framework, removing it from the legacy monolithic Admin interface. This change introduces an updated user interface for managing integrations and credentials while maintaining existing functionality and enhancing the user experience. This update is part of a larger platform effort to modernize the Genesys Cloud Admin experience, making it more cohesive, sustainable, and easier to use across all administrative functions.

Previously, the integrations section was part of the legacy Admin UI, which was built as a single large application. The migration to a standalone, modern framework helps align integrations with the overall design and standards of the Admin experience while setting the stage for long-term extensibility and accessibility improvements.

Integrations UI changes

  • Modernized interface – The integrations UI has been rebuilt using the current Genesys Cloud design system, improving visual consistency across the platform.
  • Standalone deployment – The new UI is now its own application, independent of the legacy Admin UI codebase.
  • Updated accessibility – The UI now meets current accessibility standards for a more inclusive experience.
  • Incremental improvements – Includes small enhancements based on long-standing user feedback, while keeping core interaction patterns familiar.
  • Preserved core functionality – Maintains the three main views:
    • List page – View all installed integrations and their status
    • Installation page – Browse and install available integrations
    • Detail page – Configure and manage individual integrations and credentials

Change benefits

  • Consistent user experience – Aligns the integrations UI with the look and behavior of the broader Admin interface.
  • Easier to maintain and extend – Supports future development, including UI contributions and new features.
  • Improved performance and reliability – Decomposition of the legacy monolith improves deployment flexibility and reduces technical debt.
  • Accessibility improvements – Brings the integrations interface in line with modern accessibility practices.
