The steps in this tutorial only apply to users who are on the GCNow free trial.

In this tutorial, you will learn how to set up your phone number in your GCNow trial organization.

  1. First, purchase a phone number.
    1. On the top navigation pane, click Admin.
    2. Under Genesys Cloud voice, click Number Management.
    3. Click Purchase Number.
    4. View the numbers available for purchase. Enter an area code and click Search.
    5. Choose a number and complete the purchase.
  2. In the Emergency Services and Billing Location section, select the default location.
  3. Click Agree to our general Terms & Conditions and then, click Confirm.
  4. Set up call routing so that your organization can receive inbound calls.
    1. On the top navigation pane, click Admin.
    2. Under Routing, click Call Routing.
    3. Select the available call route for editing.
    4. Search for and select the number that you purchased in the Inbound Numbers field and click Save.

You can now receive inbound calls.
