In a future release, Genesys Cloud will introduce gamification contests, allowing supervisors to set up contests within or across teams to drive engagement and improve key performance indicators (KPIs). With this new feature, supervisors can create contests tailored to their teams (whether individual or team-based, goal-driven, or competitive), to encourage improvement in targeted KPIs. Agents will see the contests they are part of, along with rules and incentives, making it easier to stay engaged and motivated. Performance administrators will also have visibility into ongoing contests across the organization, allowing them to provide support as needed. 

This update will introduce two new widgets: Agent Activity Overview and Supervisor Activity Overview, which will appear in the top-right corner by default, with existing widgets adjusted accordingly. These widgets can be moved like any other widget in Genesys Cloud. By default, customers using default roles with permission backfill enabled will see these new widgets automatically. Customers with custom roles or permission backfill disabled will need to enable permissions manually.
