Validate your guide with the guide checker

Prerequisites 
  • Virtual Agent enabled in your organization. For more information, contact your designated Customer Success Manager.
  • AI Studio permissions for Guides. For more information about all the required permissions, see AI Studio permissions. 

The Guide Checker flags errors such as an invalid data action, reviews your guide, and points out any issues with the syntax and suggests fixes. Fix the issues shown in the Checker widget before you can preview or publish your guide. 

  1. Click Admin.
  2. Under AI Studio, click Guides.
  3. Click Menu > Orchestration > AI Studio > Guides.
  4. To search for a specific guide, start typing the name of the guide in the search box. As you type, the matching guides are shown.
  5. To open a guide, click its name. 
  6. From the Instructions tab, add steps or edit the existing steps as needed.  
  7. On the upper right corner of the Instructions tab, click Checker. The Checker widget appears.
  8. To view any errors in the guide, click Check.
  9. To view an emphasized issue in the Instructions tab, hover over or click the issue in the Checker widget.  To resolve the issue, edit the corresponding steps and check the guide again.
    Notes:
    • Your guide must have no errors before you can preview or publish it.
    • Errors in the data actions or variables prevent the checker from running effectively. Review your guide for the data actions and variables first.
