Use this action to determine if the contact can opt out of surveys and if so, ends the conversation even if the policy matches the contact.

From a new or existing survey invite flow, open a task or state. From the toolbox, expand the Survey Invites category and drag a Complete Survey action into the task editor. 

Action Description


Type a name for the action. The label you enter here becomes the action’s name displayed in the task or state sequence.


Select the disposition of the call.

  • Error indicates that the system encountered a problem; for example, while attempting to retrieve an external contact.
  • OptOut indicates that the external contact chose not to participate in web surveys.
