What operating systems does the Genesys Cloud Network Readiness Assessment support?
The Genesys Cloud Network Readiness Assessment supports Windows, Mac, and Linux. Make sure that you have the correct Visualware BCS client for your operating system.
What ports need to be open for the Visualware BCS client?
For the Visualware BCS client to work properly, you must have the following ports on your firewall open:
- Port 32658 for *.visualware.com
- Port 8080 for *.pna.inindca.com
When I run the Genesys Cloud Network Readiness Assessment, it shows the test running but it never completes?
If the test never completes, you may also see the message “The test has been running an unusual amount of time – consider refreshing and trying again.”
This will occur for one of the following reasons:
- The Visualware BCS client is either not installed or is out of date. You can download the Visualware BCS client here.
- You may have selected the wrong AWS region. Restart the Genesys Cloud Network Readiness Assessment and select the correct region.
- The ports on your firewall that are required to run the Genesys Cloud Network Readiness Assessment may be closed. To find out:

- Click Having Trouble? in the lower left.
- When the Network Port Test page appears, click Start the Test.
- When the test completes, the results will indicate if any of the required ports are closed.
