Create a certificate in ServiceNow

Create an X.509 certificate in ServiceNow for a secure and reliable communication with Genesys Cloud. 

To create an X.509 certificate in ServiceNow:

  1. Log in to ServiceNow.
  2. Navigate to System Definition > Certificates.
  3. Click New to create a new certificate.
  4. Enter the following details for the certificate:
    • Name – Enter a name for the certificate.
    • Format – Select PEM from the list.
    • Type – Select Trust Store Cert from the list.
    • PEM Certificate – Copy the contents of the X.509 certificate created using OpenSSL.
    • Active – Select the option to mark the certificate as active.
  5. Click Submit.

Next, assign the certificate to the application registry created to manage Genesys Cloud.
