Change the Messenger configuration assigned to a Messenger deployment

Prerequisites
  • Genesys Cloud CX 2, Genesys Cloud CX 3, Genesys Cloud CX 4, Genesys Cloud CX 2 Digital, Genesys Cloud CX 3 Digital, or Genesys Cloud CX 1 Digital Add-on II license
  • Web Deployments Configurations All permission
  • Web Deployments Deployments > All permission
  • An inbound messaging flow

  1. Click Admin.
  2. Under Message, click Messenger Deployments.
  3. Click Menu > Digital and Telephony > Message > Messenger Deployments.
  4. Navigate to the Messenger deployment you want to change. 
  5. Click the box to place a check mark next to the Messenger deployment to change, then click Change Assignment.

    Click More and from the menu that appears, click Change Assignment. 
  6. In the Assignment pane, select a Messenger configuration and then the version to assign.
  7. Click Save.
