What are the orange lines in chats and how do I remove them?

This line shows which messages are unread based on when the room or Genesys Cloud was out of focus. 

This unread message indicator clears when you:

• Press Esc.
• Respond to the conversation with a new message.
• Click the conversation starting point bar.
