In a future release, Genesys Cloud will automatically sync approved time off requests with published schedules. This improvement eliminates the need for supervisors to manually insert requests into already published schedules. Previously, after a time off request was approved, whether automatically or manually, supervisors had to manually add it to each published schedule using a yellow triangle button. With the new update, after a supervisor approves a time off request, the request automatically reflects in the published schedule and saves without requiring any manual intervention. This automation will save supervisors significant time and reduce the likelihood of errors. For non-published schedules, supervisors must still manually insert time off requests before publishing, with the system offering a recommendation to do so. This change simplifies the process, making it easier for both agents and supervisors to manage schedules accurately and efficiently.

Note: If a time-off plan is open when the time-off plan feature is activated in your region, you may initially see the old time-off plan page. If you navigate away from this page and return to it, clicking Add or Update on a time-off plan might display a Welcome message instead of the updated interface. To resolve this, please log out, wait for 5 minutes, and then log back in. This will ensure you can access the new time-off plan screen.
