Set up co-browse for web messaging

Feature coming soon

  • Genesys Cloud User 2, Genesys Cloud User 3
  • Web Deployments Configurations All permission

Co-browse for web messaging can be enabled during the creation of your Messenger configuration. See Configure Messenger for more details. Once co-browse is enabled on the configuration, the admin has the option to additionally configure the option of allowing agents to request control of the sharer’s screen.

For any sensitive customer data on your website, you may want to mask these elements during a co-browse session. This can be done by adding specific CSS class names to your Messenger configuration, or you can use the class name which is included by default, “.cobrowse-masked”.
