Purchase and integrate Extended Voice Transcription Services from Genesys AppFoundry

This procedure explains how to purchase and integrate Extended Voice Transcription Services (EVTS) from Genesys AppFoundry. Installation adds the app to your organization’s Genesys Cloud Admin > Integrations page. Then, activate it and map dialects to it for use with voice transcription programs.

Install and activate the integration

To install and activate Extended Voice Transcription Services in your org:

  1. Log in to Genesys Cloud for the org in which to add Extended Voice Transcription Services .
  2. Click Admin.
  3. Under Integrations, click Integrations.
  4. Click Integrations.
  5. In the Search box, type Extended Voice Transcription Services. The card for Extended Voice Transcription Services will appear.
  6. Click the Extended Voice Transcription Services card. Information about the app appears.
  7. Click Purchase. The Third Party App card appears, along with Terms and Conditions.
  8. To agree to the terms and conditions, click Yes. The Extended Voice Transcription Services integration is added to the installed integrations list.
  9. To activate the integration, click Inactive. The Change Status dialog appears and asks you to confirm that you want to activate Extended Voice Transcription Services.
  10. Click Yes

Map dialects to the integration

Extended Voice Transcription Services is now active. To map the dialects that you want to use it with in programs, follow these steps:

  1. Click Admin.
  2. Under Quality, click Programs.
  3. Select a program and then select Extended Voice Transcription Services as the transcription engine for the dialect.
Note: For customers who use the WEM Add-on offerings, if you use Extended Voice Transcription Services and topic spotting Genesys bils you for the WEM Add-on and the EVTS usage on a per minute basis.
