Manage PureCloud embedding with the PureCloud embedded clients
You can manage the embedding of PureCloud in other applications with the Restrict PureCloud Embedding setting in PureCloud. This setting prevents other applications from embedding PureCloud as an iframe. However, because the PureCloud embedded clients are iframes, enabling this setting prevents the PureCloud embedded clients from appearing in third-party products.
By default, Restrict PureCloud Embedding is not enabled in your PureCloud organization. If you use a PureCloud embedded client, before enabling this setting, first add the domains that the embedded clients access to the domain whitelist in your PureCloud organization. If you do not add these domains, then the embedded clients will not work.
To enable the setting and add domains, follow these steps:
- In PureCloud, click Admin.
- Under Account Settings, click Organization Settings.
- Click the Settings tab.
- In the Security & Compliance section, enable the setting and add domains.
- Click Restrict PureCloud Embedding.
- Add domains to Allow Embeddable Domain(s).
The following table lists the domains that each PureCloud embedded client must be able to access.
|PureCloud embedded client||Domain|
|PureCloud Embeddable Framework||Parent domain.|
|PureCloud for Chrome||chrome-extension://onbcflemjnkemjpjcpkkpcnephnpjkcb|
|PureCloud for Firefox||moz-extension://*|
|PureCloud for Salesforce||*.salesforce.com, *.force.com|
|PureCloud for Zendesk||*.zendesk.com, *.zdusercontent.com|
