Edit a social account

  • Master Admin role or Socialize > All > All  permission assigned to any role

You can change the name of a social account, turn off the ability to associate listeners with an account, and toggle streaming. If an account isn’t authorized with an external account, you can also authorize it.

  1. Click Admin.
  2. Under Contact Center, click Social Accounts.
  3. Click the name of a social account.
  4. Edit the details you want changed.
  5. Click Save.

To change whether new listeners can use this account as the parent social account, click the Enabled/Disabled button.accepting assignments toggle

To change whether listeners associated with this social account can find new social expressions, click the Enabled/Disabled button.socialAccountStreaming

Important: Turn on streaming for a social account to begin receiving social expressions that match any listeners associated with the account.
