Create a profile field synchronization scheme
If you plan to customize Bridge synchronization of profile fields, it is useful to first map your data synchronization scheme. When you configure the connector, you use the information from your profile synchronization scheme to edit the JSON configuration.
Create a table like the one below.
Your Data Source Field name Sync Genesys Cloud field name Name Title Work Email
- Name the left column after the source of your data, for example, Active Directory, CIC, REST, SQL, or Workday.
List all of the data to synchronize with Genesys Cloud profiles along with their field names, for example:
Active Directory Field name Sync Genesys Cloud field name Name User.Name Title User.Title Work Email User.Mail Department User.Department Manager User.Manager Profile photo User.ThumbnailPhoto Work Telephone User.TelephoneNumber Address User.Address
In the right column, add the Genesys Cloud field names.
Active Directory Field name Sync Genesys Cloud field name Name User.Name general.name Title User.Title general.title Work Email User.Mail contactInfo.email_work Department User.Department general.department Manager User.Manager relationships.manager Profile photo User.ThumbnailPhoto images.profile Work Telephone User.TelephoneNumber contactInfo.phone_work Address User.Address general.address
In the Sync column, specify one of the following for each field:
Active Directory Field name Sync Genesys Cloud field name Name User.Name ex2in general.name Title User.Title ex2in general.title Work Email User.Mail ex2in contactInfo.email_work Department User.Department ex2in general.department Manager User.Manager 2way_ex relationships.manager Profile photo User.ThumbnailPhoto in2ex images.profile Work Telephone User.TelephoneNumber ex2in contactInfo.phone_work Address User.Address in2ex general.address
