Configure a periodic beep tone for line recording
Prerequisites
When you enable line recording, you can configure an audible beep tone to play in the background of a voice call while the system records the call. A beep tone allows participants to know that a conversation is being recorded, which may be required for regulatory compliance.
Note: Before you configure a beep tone, make sure that you enable Line Recording.
You can enable or disable beep tones, configure the length of beeps, the interval between beeps, and how the beeps sound.
- Click Admin.
- Under Telephony, click Trunks.
- Click the External Trunks tab.
- From the list, select the trunk you want to configure.
