In a future release, Genesys Cloud will support summary charts in .pdf exports. Genesys Cloud will enhance .pdf export functionality by allowing users to optionally include a summary chart when exporting certain Performance views that have the summary row enabled. Previously, .pdf exports of performance views only included tabular data, even when the summary row was active. Users had to rely on third-party tools or manually create visuals to represent summary data. With this update, users can now include a visual chart of the summary directly in the exported .pdf, offering a quicker way to interpret key metrics without leaving Genesys Cloud.
What’s changing in the UI?
- A new toggle appears when the summary row is active and the user begins a .pdf export.
- When enabled, the exported .pdf includes a summary chart on the first page, visually representing the active summary metrics.
- If the summary row is not active, the chart export option will not appear.
Initial scope
The feature will be available for the following Performance views during the initial rollout:
- Queue Performance (Summary, Detail)
- Agent Performance (Summary, Detail)
- Email / Message Queue & Agent Performance (Summary, Detail)
- Agent Status (Summary, Detail)
- Flow Outcome Performance (Summary, Detail)
- Workitems (Agent, Queue – Summary & Detail)
- Wrap-Up Performance (Summary, Agent Detail, Agent Interval Detail)
- Campaign Performance (Summary, Detail)
- DNIS Performance (Summary, Detail)
- Queue Routing Performance
Why is this release useful?
- Improves readability of exported reports by providing a quick visual overview.
- Reduces the need for external tools or manual chart creation for report visualization.
- Maintains consistency between the UI experience and exported documents.
- Supports internal reviews and executive summaries with minimal extra effort.
Compatibility and behavior
- The summary chart is not included by default; users must enable it manually during export.
- Available only when the summary row is active in a supported view.
- The export interface remains otherwise unchanged.
