Key improvements
- A unified global menu that consolidates navigation across the entire platform and improves clarity through a structured menu system.
- A new top bar displaying consistent page titles, a back button for easier orientation, and relocated elements like Collaborate, Inbox, and the User Avatar.
- Improved global search that now includes menu page results alongside people, groups, and locations, allowing users to find platform features more quickly from a single search.
- Simplified access to features. For example, consolidated access to Favorites, Video Chat, and preferred apps.
- Feature parity with the current UI, ensuring every page and function remains accessible, even for components that haven’t yet been fully modernized.
This new navigation system will be delivered as a single update rather than in phases. All existing UI components will be accessible through the new structure. To ensure continuity, the new navigation will support the ability to opt in or opt out at the Agent level.
Why does this matter?
The new design reduces the learning curve for new users, lowers the need for external support and documentation, and offers a clearer, more consistent experience, especially for administrators. By unifying and streamlining access across features, the update supports faster onboarding, smoother daily use, and improved navigation clarity across all roles.
Ultimately, this change reflects Genesys Cloud’s ongoing investment in scalability, accessibility, and user-centered design, making the platform easier to use today and more adaptable for tomorrow.
