Deprecation: Windows 10 support for the desktop app

Microsoft will end support for Window 10 on October 14, 2025. On that date, Genesys will no longer support using the Windows 10 operating systems with the desktop app.

What does this mean?

Between the announcement date and the removal of support, Genesys will continue to update the desktop app to resolve any major breakage until the support end date. After the support end date, Genesys Cloud will no longer provide updates to desktop app for Windows 10.

Am I affected?

This deprecation affects you if you or anyone in your organization uses the desktop app with Windows10.

How can I prepare for this deprecation?

If you use Windows 10, upgrade your operating system to Windows 11. Alternatively, you can use the web app version of Genesys Cloud with a supported browser. For more information about supported browsers and operating systems, see Genesys Cloud system requirements.
